Following the continued success of BBC’s Poldark, Social Media Makes Sense Ltd. take great pleasure in sharing with you some statistics from our latest Poldark social media campaign.
Having built almost 250,000 followers across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter over the first two series we were excited to see the numbers grow even more throughout series three.
SMMS covered all aspects of social media and online engagement for series three and can confirm we will continue to do so for series 4!
We successfully grew the Poldark social channels from 250,000 to over 270,000 across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram during series 3 TX.
Throughout S3, our top 10 Facebook posts reached 1.9 million people, that’s 1,984,700 people to be precise! Our top tweet reached 106,557 people and on average we earned 211 retweets per day.
Added to this, our most liked Instagram post this series received 90.2K impressions alone!
In addition to creating engaging, fun, and shareable content, we also ran a live Twitter Q&A EVERY week during TX. That’s 9 live Q&As featuring 14 cast members!
Oh, and we did this with 0 ad spend; not too shabby, eh?
