Jo Joins Battle Bus for Sage

SageJoanna Booth founder of SMMS joined Start-Up Britain’s Battle bus.

Jo was excited to be asked by  Start-Up Britain’s partner Sage to give two workshops on Social Media tips and tricks to interested  entrepreneurs in Manchester’s Picadilly Gardens.

Joanna set up Social Media Makes Sense with a Start-Up Loan from Business Finance Solutions.

“I was fortunate enough to be given a Start-Up Loan by BFS to get my business off the ground. They gave me invaluable help with a wonderful mentor. So I felt it was a great opportunity to give something back to the community,” says Jo.

“I was amongst the first 10 young entrepreneurs to receive a Start-Up Loan in the North West so I know how invaluable the help can be when you are young and struggling to get   started,” she adds.

Natalie Tuer from Business Finance Solutions adds “It is great to see one of our first loan recipients making such great headway and becoming and established part of Manchester’s business community already!”

Joanna is also Sage’s youngest blogger and she writes about Social Media for them.  Eleanor Silson, Sage’s Social Media Specialist says, “We are pleased to have Jo represent us on the Manchester battle bus because she has always written great Social Media blogs with invaluable advice for our clients!”
