Good news – Jo working with Sage UK!

We are incredibly proud of Jo this month – she’s teamed up with high profile software business Sage UK on two different occasions in the past few weeks. First, she spoke on a ‘Sage Advice Podcast’ about how to delegate your social media. Read the press release below for more info, and click here to listen.

“Jo Booth is the founder and director of Social Media Makes Sense, the only UK company specialising solely in social media for TV and Film. As a Social Media educator, Jo loves to use her expertise, knowledge and skills to support productions and businesses to make the most out of their online presence. She likes to bring energy and enthusiasm to all her work and help clients fully understand and harness their digital marketing potential. As a result of this, she is regularly invited to speak at events and conferences about her opinions on Social Media, business, and how to engage with audiences.”

Secondly, she joined forces with other female business owners (Jenny Garrett, Grace Marsall, chaired by Michelle Grant) for a Facebook Live event titled ‘From Bossy to Boss’. They talked about important issues women face in any career, the hurdles they had to jump to get where they are, and gave stellar advice about how to be successful. “As a woman in business it can be challenging to take the reins and gain authority without experiencing discouragement or criticism. In this Facebook Live event we are joined by a panel of ambitious women who want to share their experiences of overcoming the “bossy” label and how they have built their successful businesses.”
